That's odd, most European football clubs have all natural turf, right? Only some in Russia, Kazakhstan, US and Canada are synthetic, I think.

I wonder why they decided to do that and whether this will affect our games.

Is very common and a lot of big clubs have it.

No different at all to having a pure grass pitch. Think it just limits damage.

It's not synthetic though. It's a hybrid pitch. This one will be easier to maintain as it'll deteriorate at a lesser frequency.

I have to say though, our turf this season does not look as nice as last season's, personally, for some reason. Last season our turf looked impeccable.
