I saw a video of him snubbing a handshake to Barto during the Copa medals line. Would make sense. He shouldn't start as much next year but he's a perfect sub.
Disgraceful if true, if you don't want to renew him fine, but let him play out his last year here. I don't understand what this retarded board is trying to do selling a club legend for peanuts with only one year left on his contract.

There were rumours that Barto considered to sell him but then Valverde called Iniesta a very important player in his plans.

That just sounded made up. Barto and the board to a fault have backed the managers in the market and dont think would look to sell players before Valverde had a say.
More likely if anything it was discussed as Iniesta may ask to leave as had already made comments that made it seem even slightly possible due to importance in team, playing time etc.
