People say he should stay another season here but I couldn't disagree more.

We were lucky enough to win a double in this mess and give him a reputed farewell but the longer he stays the more misery he will undergo through.

And while he will be leaving with a domestic double in his last season, it seems pretty unlikely that he will win that again if he stays considering how poor we are.

Puyol himself wanted to play somewhere else, he didn't retire officially until 1 year after he left because he still hoped his rehab will go well and he will come back.
Messi is very unlikely to go back to Argentina, easy money somewhere else will have its say just like it did with Mascherano.
Those players are making the right moves. It is a win win situation for almost everyone involved. The whole one club legend is really overrated and just a sentimental thing

pique's situation with money is probably second to messi in the team, being married to shakira, plus trying to build his credit with barcelona to be put in staff i can almost say without a doubt pique will retire here

Most players wouldn't until they get close to retiring age like iniesta. You certainly get the players who don't have great ambition like hulk oscar or Ramirez who go to these bad leagues just for the money. Also as if the millions they have already isn't enough to ensure their families future

It's not about ambitions . So many of the Brazilians chose such leagues because of their poor family background and the way they had to grow up facing adversity and poverty . Who would give up such lucrative offers . Players like Hulk , Ramires , Oscar knows their limits and talent . They won't achieve big playing in europe and hence chose china . I won't blame them
