Don't know why Valverde didn't sub him off in 2nd half. It wasn't like Juve would score 4.

He's being ran to the ground and I fear what state will he be in spring.

I think Valverde is really counting on us getting a creative midfielder in January that will help Iniesta getting more rest in 2nd half of the season. And maybe by playing Iniesta constantly he's also trying to send a message to the board that we need reinforcements.

Yeah good game tonight. I just love watching him play. He's obviously past his prime but he's still a joy to behold at times. Still by far our most creative midfielder.

Any reason in particular why he was subbed? He could have the whole week off to rest. We simply can't have a midfielder in our starting 11 who can't do more than 50 mins because he has to work defensively too now.
