Eh. Not really a good case for your argument. The angle is a bit deceptive. This is basically Willian taking advantage of his speed advantage over Busquets to get a bit of space and get off a very well hit long distance shot. He's probably a good 20 yards away when he starts his run and 10 yards away when he hits it. You can't have players scrambling to double-team from that far away when their job is to hold position to make sure other opposing players can't exploit the gaps created.

Really think that he's slacking in that clip. Even before Willian gets the ball, it was obvious what was going to happen and all he does is back away from the action.

Exactly. He's intentionally backing away, to intercept a potential pass to Pedro and keep an eye on Fabregas who is his main responsibility.

More like 15 yards and 5 yards.

When he plays for NT you never see a slow and old Iniesta, I think its EV asking him to be extremely safe and conservative.

He has looked old for Spain in both of the last intl tournaments when they played decent sides.

Qualifying is far less intense and generally against poorer sides.
