Iniesta is a genius who just happens to have played all his life for what is arguably the greatest club side in the history of the game, who also have in Lionel Messi , probably the greatest player ever and also for a country that stands, at the moment, above any other footballing nation.

Hes just not good as a winger. And don't bring up some performance vs Rayo as if that were a type of measuring stick. Play him in midfield where he belongs please.

He's not good on the wing against good teams. Never was. That's why Pep never used him in that position even though he played there all the time with the national team. It seems he can do anything he wants and isn't touched. He never stays in his position.

At least he was trying to make things happen, he attempted a couple shots, got an assist even if his passing was off... He didn't shy away like Xavi and Messi and that's something to value...

c'mon people this isn't even funny anymore iniesta is brill on the wing, not worth taking off villa and plaing cesc, but still great

he did nothing wrong, went all the way and then last minute just remembered there's no striker to pass to.

That's because the wingers should be strikers. I remember one scene when it was still 0-1 where we had like 10 shots within a couple of seconds and nobody was able to score. What good is it to use midfielders on the wing if we don't have anyone left who can shoot? Ronaldo would have scored 10 times there, to be honest....

good point but that isn't iniesta's fault. it's all the managements fault, if u hav inesta there should be a striker winger on the other side but that isn't the case.
as a assisting winger iniesta does no wrong, just tactically wrong on the other side

I never said it was Iniesta's fault, he's just misplaced on the wing. If we have a false 9 like Messi, we need 2 strikers on the wings. It's clearly the management's fault.
