A Chelsea fan just tried to make the argument that Don doesn't deserve this. That he is only a good player, not a great and that if he played for any other team he wouldn't have won this regardless of he performances with the national team. I am so bamboozled that I really don't know what to say back, any suggestions?

First of all, Messi scored in the first half, when his entire stupidly stacked team was, not in the second..so maybe that goal had something to do with the fact that the team played better after the break.
Second of all Iniesta is not better than Messi no matter how many dribbles he makes and Leo was more effective than him even if we only count his goal.
The whole team definitely turned shit around and started playing MUCH better in the first half after the sending off, not surprisingly. Leo was among those playing like shit during the blitz(including turning the ball over in a wretched position to give Madrid that 2nd goal), Iniesta was not.

This had to happen at some point. He has done so many great things for Spain, Barca & for the football in general. His magical football, his personalty, his kindness, there's so many reasons why he totally deserves it. Gratz to Iniesta.
