Seriously, everybody's hailing Spain as "teh best team eva". They played one good game. Xavi played one good game. It's all Xavi. He was a god that night. His incredible assists were ignored, not many replays, and they were hardly referenced by the commentators.

What is the saddest part of all is that the guy is still a midfield god but for some reason he's decided that he attempts to move the ball forward and attempt his through balls once every 3 months or so.

I think this was due to the better tournament Iniesta had. It's clear that Xavi playing better was decisive for spain's display, and it's sad this will most definitely go unnoticed to the majority
