Default Can't be bothered with this season

I just cannot be bothered any more to be honest with you. I think I need a break from football anyway so I will see you guys around in May or when Benitez is sacked - which ever is first.

When you become not angry, not upset, not sad but just total detachment and indifference from football in general and the current state of your club you know something is wrong.

I don't want to be around watching the blueshite - no offence Anton - win the league again or the prick harry redknapp and his spurs take our spot. But I honestly do not mind city at all. Even though we are fighting for the same spot they have ambition and have real plans for the future.

So I really don't want to stick around for the domestic league and don't get me started on europe. Firstly losing to Fiorentina and Lyon at home is a disgrace - and they are average don't care what anyone says.

So do I want to mix it on thursday nights with crap teams like Celtic or Villarreal? no.

All my fight for this team has gone I have none left to give. Well not under the current management or owners at least.

I may sound either of these things:-

    1) Melodramatic
    2) nonsensical bullshit
    3) A twat
    4) a combination

But I have been leaking fighting spirit since the defeat at spurs and I am at empty.

If something big occurs in football during the coming season I shall have my comment and I will be here for major cup finals and if rafa goes (very unlikely this season trust me).

If any of you guys would like to keep in touch pm me and I promise to reply - I will check my pm's every week or so.

This isn't a heat of the moment thing because of tonight but more a combination of stuff.

If I see replies to this thread or anyone making direct comment at me in an aggressive way - you know me better than that I shall reposte to you as I don't back down.

    Au Revoir for now!
Football is a simple game, complicated by idiots.

It's a shame how much the fat bastard and Americans have driven Liverpool into the ground, but there's nothing wrong with a break from the sport for a bit. Hopefully Rafa gets replaced by a capable manager next year.

    This ^^^
    1) Melodramatic
    And That ^^^

first one is your current level , and i know it could be hard with everyone posting in the Champions league topic and you are getting busy with Europa league topic on your own
second is your current mood and a spot on description of your post

U know i've been around Cule's forumS for a while Ed ( good 5+ years ) , i don't appreciate anyone who hide during tough times so i don't like what you are saying ..
loyal and true fans stay the same whether their team lose 6-2 in the Classico , went down home & away for Liverpool or crashed out from the CL in the group stage .

in short disappointed in your way of supporting your team

I don't think you should be picking and choosing when to support your club based on success. If there are bigger issues that you haven't mentioned such as the identity of the club then fine but make a stand of principle and sever your ties with LFC like others I know have done despite decades (and I mean decades) of unswerving support. A post best summed up as "I'll be back when we're winning" is beneath you.

Lyon and Fiorentina are not average.

I agree with Gio and Adam, you sound like a glory fan and I've never took you as that. As a fan you should support the club through good and bad, yes you don't like the current management ( and I don't blame you ) but you should still support the club.

Referring to something u can all relate to..Being a member of PTC, trust me when i say things are that much sweeter when u get back on top after having supported the club through rough times. Stick in there man. You dont have to break your back to watch every single match, but dont just give up on the season.

Typical big club fan mentality, unfortunately a lot of cules are guilty of this too, believing that some clubs have a divine right to always be the best and when even well established clubs that aren't on the same levels as the Madrids and Juves of the world, like Fiorentina, Valencia and City challenge for dominance it's viewed as blasphemy. Some fans are only interested in winning for the sake of winning.

Anyway I don't think this makes Edward a glory hunter, I disagree with a lot of his philosophy on the sport and he clearly feels he supports a club with a divine right for success, but it's not like Liverpool has just started to disappoint. I understand as a Knicks fan there reaches a point where your club's management is so despicable that you just can't bring yourself to care anymore and choose to focus on other things until a change of direction occurs. It's not like he's supporting another club all of a sudden.

It's only a game, we can't forget this. Being a fan involves going through both the good and the bad, I find both equally rewarding, but I believe we all have other interests for a reason.

Eddy isnt a glory hunter at all. All fans get to this stage at some point. I feel he will be back sooner than he realises.

oh yeh. bloody hell, we were happy with the signings of petit and overmars... right now, we are bitching about ibra. lol. no one realises how much did those two cost the club.

another highlight of gaspart era was that ridiculous amount of passes goal against liverpool.

that was the epic moment of the gaspart era.
