When asked about selling players (like Arda, I guess), and about the mercato running out.

Robert said he "needs time", and that "some players will leave, but they have yet to decide who".

It's like we're in early june, and they don't realize we have less than two weeks left.

They will release these players on good behaviour at the end of this month because they failed to sell them.

Barcelona are all set to allow Arda Turan and Sergi Samper to leave the club, according to multiple reports in Spanish news outlet, SPORT. The Blaugrana are desperate to free up spots in their squad before the transfer window ends, and are willing to take a financial hit to facilitate these transfers. No offer has come in for Arda Turan, but Barcelona are reportedly going to allow the Turkish midfielder to leave on a free transfer, while Sergi Samper will possibly exit the club on loan, to fellow La Liga side Las Palmas.

Whata fall from grace. From nearly world-class Spartan to this.

Could be worse though. Barca letting him go on loan and paying his wages.

The guy was always made to look better than he really was under Simeone's system.

Remember we are obliged to pay him a fat wage for the next 3 seasons. Paying out his contract and allowing him to become a free agent will be expensive for us.

Cheaper to loan him and have someone pay portion of his wages than buying out the remainder of his contract in bulk.
