1981 New Zealand. A man drops a flour bomb from a plane in protest of an international Rugby match.
Apartheid had made South Africa an international pariah, and other countries were strongly discouraged from having sporting contacts with it. Rugby union was (and is) an extremely popular sport in New Zealand, and the Springboks were considered to be New Zealand's most formidable opponents. Therefore, there was a major split in opinion in New Zealand as to whether politics should influence sport in this way and whether the Springboks should be allowed to tour. Protests took place all over the country. 2 of the 16 matches on tour in New Zealand were overpowered by the protesters.

Images of Crusaders vs Hurricanes Super Rugby Final 2006 played in heavy fog in New Zealand. Should not have been played really to be honest.

and another television view. They had to use odd television camera's for this match as it was too difficult to use the main camera's except with a close up.
