Granero should never start AHEAD of Kaka.. his place is beside Xabi .
what made Granero play well is the Spanish trio in the midfield and with Guti playing as a sort of AM Granero was a CM and that's where he played well with those short spanish passing triangles .
Regarding Negredo he is yet to settle well for Seville i wouldn't say he would have made a difference considering Negredo game is a copy cat of Ruud which means he still have no place in the team .
you have called for Negredo before and once again i'll remind you that Real Madrid are not playing with a traditional no 9 but a mobile forward system who runs all over the pitch .
You play Ruud & Negredo upfront and they will be anonymous so it's not a question of Negredo quality but he won't fit the system .
I still hope for his return if Manu decided to switch to a No 9 striker but as you see most of our forwards don't even stay in the box which makes Negredo & the likes of Ruud a burden probably a bigger burden than Benzema as they are 10 % of their strong points outside the box .
It will be interesting to see what Manu will do now that most of the injured players are back just before the CL tie
