But he won't get any Barcelona player then? I can't really imagine that a Cesc or Piqué just leaves Athletic or some youth Barcelona team for your side. Or it should be a minifigo.

To be honest, those who have technical skills and have played in England have excelled in Spain. I was wondering the same thing but something about Wenger I cannot trust. Although, I am sure he would instill so much confidence in our players make them feel 10 feet tall. That is what the EPL is about.

And if he can make those young spoiled brats feel like they own the place, imagine what he would do with Ronaldo, Kaka, Xabi and especially Benzima.
May permanent peace be brought to the Arab world. My heart goes out to the families of those who have lost loved one(s). I wish and hope those who are creating religious, racial, regional, and tribal divisions among/within the Arab nations would be defeated in their quest for the destruction of the Middle East.

I think Wenger and Madrid would be a very dangerous combination. Real have immense potential in their cantera but nobody has ever bothered to use it of late. Wenger would. And he's not a bad tactician either - he has credentials. Only problem is that he has gone a bit insane with all this comfort and lack of challenge he has faced at Arsenal. But given better funding he would do very well imo, and he'd also normalise Real's spending. The only issue would be that he would need time, because he'd change the Real Madrid project quite a lot imo. And I'm not convinced that he'd be given that time by the fans and the management.

Yes but he bought them relatively cheaply. So he didn't spend big on them.

Plus at Arsenal he has the confidence of the board.

At Real he would be forced to sign the big name players. He would be forced to do things, that his natural inclination would be not to do it.

At Real he would be demanded to win a trophy every season. Can he handle that pressure?
Guardiola is quoted as telling Catalan radio: “Liverpool Academy is the only one who can compete at "La Masia". If they can manage those lads, then maybe 20 star players can arrive from that academy.”

Watching David Silva is like watching Pornography.

I think his track record in giving young players a chance will be decisive bare in mind Real already have young squad par 3/4 players so he has all the ingredients for a similar old Arsenal team
already without Wenger we are able to attract young spanish players (Canales )

I would like him to coach those names , if all went bad for Manu i have no doubt they will knock on Wenger door again next summer i believe his relation with Arsenal could end if there is no trophy (looks like it ) at the end of the season

And that's why i think he would be a success , cause we are not gunners fans
Second place isn't good enough we will reignite the old Wenger who was competitive (still one of the biggest douch bags in football but most of those top 4 managers are douchbags )

didnt wenger turn down madrid recently? and didnt he claim that teams with lots of money are "half cheating" ? would he go back on these things to go to madird.. to be honest imo wenger would be gr8 for madird if everyone was patient enough with him, but in all likelyhood i just cant see it...

I'll tell you couple of things starting by he definitely can handle the pressure compared to Rafa who crack under pressure (see his routine outbursts vs SAF which ends with Liverpool losing the next couple of games ) , has better eye for talent than Rafa ..etc
add to that like Rafa he is also a Madrid fan but true to our roots than Rafa

You have to consider Rafa is quite a burned out manager for Perez & Valdano (shit on a stick = Liverpool ) so dreaming of Real reliving you from your misery and hiring Rafa has as much odds as you winning the CL this season despite the fact that you play in Europa league

He turned us down last summer due to his own ideology & policy of never breaking his contract , that's why i mentioned his contract ending in summer or Arsenal getting fed up from lack of trophies

I think you are setting yourself up with a huge fall in believing in Wenger.

I see you've still to get over your football lesson last year!

I'd rather Rafa than Wenger every day of the week. If you think Rafa cracks under the pressure then you have no clue what tricks old fergie got up to with Wenger. Which team lost a 10 point lead to man u in 02/03 season oh yeah Mr Wenger. Wenger cracks under the pressure all the time. Even Mourinho has his number.

When Real fail yet again in the CL - and they will fail - why would they choose a manager that can't hack the pressure when its on?

If anything Real will stick with spanish/latin managers for the forseeable future.

I think we got over the football lesson last year but i believe the problem you are still doing a "be kind ,rewind " routine as we are still in the CL a year later while you are in Europa league with the mighty champions of Denmark ..etc

I know his teams started to crack but @ many times due to lack of leadership and experience in some positions

the way i see it , there is 2 Wengers
the one who coached the likes of Pires,Henry,Parlour,Bergkamp,Ian Wright,Adams ,Petit,Overmars ,Keown, Vieira,Anelka,David Seaman

and the one who coach Cesc,Van Persie,Eduardo,Song,Gallas,Almunia ,Arshavin,Nasri

there is a big difference between the two sides and their ability to hold the pressure and i believe with Real he has a squad resemble the first corp than the second ..
