Roberto Carlos (par his press conferences and usual faux pas )has a special place in every Madridista heart .. we can't hate him no matter what he says or do

Seriously the catalan press are on fire these days now EMD say Valdano will take over , Perez didn't like any of our games and Pellegerini sinned by playing Raul a player Perez hate (well at least they got that right )

well at least they got the Raul thing right , i've been saying this since i learned Perez is running for the office .

frankly i'd love 2 fast strikers even if Benz looks so damn slow in the liga

Swap Raul for Higuain in the starting XI. Who plays wide right?

None, Manu play without side midfielders , 2 AM's (Kaka-CR) with free roles behind the attackers to roam left & right.
not my cup of tea as a formation as it needs excellent communication and sync between the players to cut the defense .

It will take a longer time for the players to reach the required form for this formation

That's pellegrini favourite tactics. But if that so, what the hell is guti doing? granero is better, even van der vaart would be better than guti with that tactics.

Yes, i know....that's why? van der vaart for me is always a AM, also granero. They are not holding midfielder.

VDV is not on form man & Granero play some games..

Guti play as a holding midfield when Manu switch to 4-3-3 like Seville game

I noticed it too....but guti is too slow to play 4-3-3, or any manu tactics He can looked very special against the like of xerez. With teams like sevilla? he looked like he's 60 years old and too tired to chase anything.

he was consistent this year but he was too slow for Seville play , a questionable tactical decision from Manu than Guti own fault

Seem to me it was manu mis-judging sevilla pace. Of course it's not guti own fault, what do you expect? he's almost 70 years old and he have to cope with high spirited young men

well his job is mainly to create/pass in the final third or keep possession in the middle of the pitch
if you expect defensive duties from Guti (something he is not know of doing or even being good at it ) u should blame yourself

use Guti well means to make him do just what i wrote and don't burden him by telling him return to defend

And prior to the Sevilla game, Guti was performing outstanding comparing with the things I (and most of us porbably) were expecting from him this year.
