I just got Little Big Planet for PS3. Its a quality game! Stephen Fry is crackin me up

My PS3 broke. something wrong with the blueray reader or whatever it is called so all i can do is watch regular dvds. What sucks is that the warranty expired about a week before this unfortunate turn of events so its going to cost me $150 for Sony to fix it. What is even worse is that i was feeling like santa claus and gave my Xbox360 to my nephew for his birthday (Couldn't get myself to cough out money to buy him a new one ) So now i'm stuck playing fifa 08 on my roommate's PS2. How exciting is that

And yea its terrible u gave your xbox to your nephew! I mean what were u thinking. Xbox is sho shit u should have just burnt it..not lumped your nephew with it. I feel very sorry for your nephew lol.

I know man. I used to love the xbox360 till i got pro evo on ps3. The difference was night and day. Xbox360 live is great though, but thats about all they have going for them.

Call me cheap, but ever since I got my PS2 (ages ago) I have'nt considered buying anything else, I'm in love with PES, that's basically the only game I play. Master League is the best !

Actually I did have a game boy, lost it somewhere though but seriously, whats the use of getting ps3, the only game I'm interested in is PES .. and I play it enough on my ps2 .. soo there's no way in hell I'm going to spend 500-600$ on a new ps3 just to play PES

I dont see why xbox live is that good. The PSN is miles better than xbox live. As far as i know u cant use xbox as a web browser. Not to mention PSN is free

I have a problem folks. Should I get FIFA 2009 or PES 2009? I own FIFA 2008 in PS3 and it looked awesome but not sure if I should switch to PES 2009 this time. What do you think?

PES2009 is awesome, tried it in both PS2 and PS3, haven´t tried FIFA though, but I´m quite happy with PES.

I don't play on my PS3 all that often because of work so it really annoys me that on the odd occasion that I turn on my console it demands that I perform a system update which takes 20 minutes before I can do anything else

Download the update onto a usb stick and then put it in your ps3. It eradicated all d/l time and only takes a few mins to install.

Make sure u follow the instructions about naming the folders on the usb stick though. Its vital.

I'll purchase a USB stick some time when I'm on holiday next month, my last one broke after several years of very good service at Uni etc.
