Robert Fernandez won’t be renewed and this is the type of decision that will be common place... I don’t care much for club politics but who thought it a good idea to install Segura (who headed Barça B and comes from fucking Liverpool) as General Manager.

Yeah but the point I'm making is that Pique and Alba were signed for a combined 20 million or so. It's easy to suddenly say we've adopted a principle of not signing La Masia players who have left when they would cost 50 mill plus.
Truth is Semedo was the cheaper option despite Bellerin being a better ATTACKING rb

Tbf we kinda threw him out.
Thiago left us while beeing af first team player and expected Xavi-succesor. We had high hopes and he left us because of a stupid clause which was way to low considering his talent at the time. So you cant compare Pique, Bellerin, cesc or Alba to him.
Im also ambivalent on signing him, so imo segura isnt that off.

The clause dropped down because he wasn't played more even when the title was won. Everyone knew about that clause, but no one cared. Playing Xavi on painkillers to get the 100 points was more important.
Could have been prevented. Not sure he would have stayed still, but at least the club would have been in a better position to negotiate.

Dont think it was about the 100 point season though.

I think the board or people in the sporting management should have reminded/told Tito about the clause and told him it's important it doesn't drop down to 18m.
It's just poor management to let that happen. Didn't even need that many minutes left.

Dont think Xavi playing with pain killers was anything to do with 100 points. Was that not in CL?

If he did know then he was in fault too. Playing Cesc - Iniesta or Cesc - Xavi after the league was won was pointless.
