We need someone to run into the box. Getting both Pjanic and Thiago would be a poor decision.

Who should we sign then? Thiago is available for 30m. We're not in the financial position to blow off 100m on Milinkovic-Savic or Fabian Ruiz.

the one that I can think of is Donny van de Beek. Or just get a different profile, for example, Ruiz or Soumare. Similar profile, but younger, Bruno Guimaraes?

We should go for Thiago but just dont want to see a fdj-Pjanic-Thiago midfield.

A double pivot consisting of two of them + an attacking midfielder would work very well

why would Thiago want to come back to this mess of a club when he can go to a competitive PL and play under the best manager in the world for one of the best teams

Great club, easy titles, decent chances of a CL trophy.

Yeah, this would be ideal short-term solution. See if/what Ndombele can provide to the team before deciding to spend money on him.

Like it or not Busi will still be a starter next season but at least we'd have some good bench options and different profiles of the midfielders if we'd get him.

FDJ-Busi-Pjanić with Ndombele, Roberto and Puig on the bench doesn't seem so bad to me.
