Imo the media have not wasted the slightest chance to take Thiago in their lap and projecting him at a whole new level, a level that he is yet to reach and which he probably might reach. If it works out, amazing, if it doesn't it would be a disaster to watch such a fantastic talent going downstairs. Yes it has happened to many other young stars in the world who have been unable to crack it at the top.
Lets speak about his predecessors. From what I have read and heard, Xavi was considered to be a disaster waiting to succeed one of the best midfielders, the prototype of the dream central midfielder of the Cryjuff's philosophy, Pep Guardiola. The player was patient, he was even sent back to the B team after a set of poor performances wasnt he? Yes he might have or might not have contemplated for a move to some other club when things werent working out, but he still stayed and he wanted to prove himself and where does he stand now? The best Central Midfielder in the world. About Andres, we all know how much patient Andres was and the fruits are now so tasty that no one can deny the fact that this guy is a total crack. He was away from the spot light, patient to play the second fiddle behind much famous midfielders like Deco, Ronaldinho and others.
Nearly 36 hours back Graham Hunter tweeted about Manchester United's desire to acquire this latest gem from our factory but he also stated the desire of Thiago to stay would make it tough for any team to acquire him. Now thats what we all want to hear. He is in the best place out there at the moment and the potential arrival of Cesc Fabregas would do nothing be help him work better and work more, if he is ready to take the challenges and has the desire to prove himself, which we all can never doubt about. The arrival of Cesc Fabregas is certain to push a player behind the scene, but if Thiago wishes to learn and develop, Im dead certain it would not be him and it would require the God's maximum effort to keep Thiago out of the starting line up in the next two years.
We speak about Keita? Yes, great player to have in the squad but honestly I dont see him having any future in our club after Pep leaves and we honestly should also need to start working on the future project too, shouldnt we.? If Thiago stays, which he will for sure, he would start a minimum of 15-25 game this season and thats the way he should start with. In the shadows, away from the spot light and media pressure and learn the art from the best players above him, the art to come out of the shadows forever.
One thing im really impressed with him is, how quickly he was to deny any move away from FC Barcelona, off late. Just ask your beloved dad to shut his mouth and we all would have a great time in enjoying ur tiki-samba:barca scarf:
