Well, Vermaelen wasn't great today but I'm not ready to give up on him yet.
He's actually solid before he got an injury.
What he need is actual playing time with the same CB partner to fit in La Liga.

We almost conceded because he completely whiffed a clearance. This is Barca, not amateur hour. We could expect more even from Bartra.

I won't try to make excuses for Verminator, because he was terrible, but just about every single player on the pitch made glaring mistakes today. Bravo looked shaky as hell and had his share of mistakes. Should be crucify him too? Hell, even Busi was uncharacteristically sloppy too, so I guess we should fetch the pitchforks an run him out of town?

So yeah, of course we should expect more, but that goes for everyone in the starting XI tonight.

Bravo was one of our best players mate.
Vermaelen was just shaky, Lucho did well to substitute him.

Bravo had some good saves, but also more than a few uncharacteristic errors.
And yes, of course Lucho was correct in subbing him, as he had a terrible match (as already stated), but he sure as hell wasn't the sole cause of the worst half we've played in ages.
