typical performance.. solid in defense weak in build up.. at one point you could see the frustration of iniesta who kept motioning to him to advance with the ball instead of being so static with it.

The attribute of a good manager .. bringing out the best out of his players. If all of 2016 siginings where under performing, then the problem was in Lucho and not the players most likely

Disagree. As great as Vermaelen has been, he allows the opponent to head the ball on too many occasions.
Solid backup though. Should stay if he doesn't cost too much.
