No, I'm saying the manager is an idiot who doesn't think highly of Dembele and actually trusted a player like Gomes over him for crucial UCL match. Not surprised if he thinks highly of an average player like Willian. Go to the Chelsea boards and see what they think of this transfer.

Chelsea fans a few months ago were saying he was their best player this season.

He was voted the players player of year this season and player/fans player of season couple before that.

Quick to revise history when player wants to leave.

On Shed End just now reasing last few pages and most like him while think likes of Pedro are terrible.

It's more like the dressing room award. Players who have a nice personality and other players want to show appreciation for his contribution on and off the field.

It's so stupid to even mention it but I guess the mouthpiece of this incompetent board ran out of excuses.

Spending 60 millions on a 30 yo inconsistent winger and not considering buying a world class midfielder like Thiago just shows the lack of foresight. No way EV will drop Suarez, so he'll just reduce Dembele's minutes even more and block his development.

Buying a winger... which the squad dont have a great deal of... allows Coutinho to be used in midfield more if needed.

The price is high for Willian but getting another proper winger type player in makes sense.

So is Willian going to be a sub for Dembele or vice versa? Or do we just sell Dembele or loan him out?
