And this is how it should be at the top club - we'll have a good mix of experienced and young players. These experienced players are usually the one that are dragging the team forward in the crucial games. Even if he can gives us good 2-3 years it would be worth it.

No, this is a luxury signing we cant afford, especially when we have to very soon replace Messi, Pique, Suarez, Busquets, Rakitic and Alba as well, and we still havent replaced Iniesta and Xavi. Where do we get the money to afford this? The last thing we need is splashing 80m euros plus 50-60m in wages on a player that will play for a year or two, with no sell-on value and we have to spend big again. We have more than enough experience. Thats not our problem. We dont need another 30 year old for even more experience.

Not good enough, not what we need. To put it bluntly. He's pretty good if inconsistent on the counter, or in stretched games, but when teams sit deep, which is pretty much how everyone sets up against us at least initially, he struggles. He's basically got the one move/plan ala Deulofeu, which is stop, accelerate on the outside and smash a cross in. Plus he's 30 basically, vastly over priced and plays in the same position as our second most expensive signing and only promising youngster. Not to mention he would almost certainly mean we'll persist with 442.

The best of Willian was during the CL tie where he was just murdering us easily on the counter.

problem is that Willian doesn't alway show up all the time. He's known for his inconsistency. He would be a massive upgrade on the likes of Vidal though as a RW option, and he's a hard worker but plagued with inconsistency.

These players will be replaced gradually, we have Arthur, De Jong and Lenglet already lined-up, these should be replacements for Rakitic, Busi and Pique.

Concerning money, we were planning to pay Griezzman's buyout, we have 100M sitting around and we are rumoured to sell Cillesen, Rafinha, Marlon, Gomes, I think money is not an issue here. Mascherano and Iniesta leaving also freed up some money for salaries.

He was man of the match for Brazil just a few hours ago - overshadowing Coutinho and Neymar ...

We cant count on replacing every aging superstar with a one-for-one cheap bargain. Several players must be bought and some will fail and some will succeed. The amount of money needed to properly replace Messi, Pique, Xavi, Iniesta, Suarez, Busquets and Alba is definitely a money issue. Even if we manage to sell our deadwood (which we usually do not manage and is not something we can count on).

Signing a wide player can allow Coutinho to play in midfield and Artur is also on way.

Willian would be a good player for Barca.

He is 30 year old player who will cost us 70 mil FFS! If we pay him 30mil ok but 70?!?! THIS IS JUST CRAZY! And did you forget Dembele?

And he played against a player from the Mexican league and a Fiorentina flop. Just because its the World Cup doesnt mean the players they play against are world class.

There is no way in this current market you are getting a player like Willian for anywhere close to 30m even at soon to be 30.

Promising 16/17 year olds from Brazil are going for 40/50m but when it is Real that is explained as good business.

That doesn't mean that 70 mil for 30y old Willian is a good business.
