Mate, I don`t get your infatuation with Ronaldo. When you shouted EVER did you remember that the format of the Premier league from which they count those records is only 16 years old?
Next, on that assists list I see Rooney, Fabregas and others ahead of him so his achievement isn`t really something.

I respect your opinion, old sport. However 99% of people here are in no doubt that Messi is better. Some even go so far and claim that even Henry is better than Ronaldo.

Why does it not matter about this season, but when messi scores 16 goals in 40 games (im not sure if they are exact but i cbb to check) and still puts in many great performances, and then starts off this season the way he has, does that not qualify him to be put in the same breath as ronaldo STATISTICALLY (i say statistically because besides from ronaldo, his mum and alex ferguson everyone knows messi is more talented than ronaldo..thats something u know from seeing him, not from looking at statistics).

@thierry14henry, I still believe Messi was a more talented player than Ronaldo even last season, sure Ronaldo scored more goals but like maz said, if you watch enough matches you could easily tell that Messi is much better but he just lacked the goals. This season he proved to be a more talented player AND score a good amount of goals, so I guess that sums it up. This season Ronaldo can't even keep up with Henry ffs, a player who is being played out of position and has the least goals out of the 3 forwards we have. So comparing Ronaldo to Messi is really irrelevant.

Ronaldo is crap. Was and always will be. I hope he will sign for RM. That will be a sign of new galacticos. I don`t want them to sign Ribery, Benzema, Vidic. I would rather see them splashing huge amount of money on Cristina.

What is wrong with you? The stats you posted are NOT OF ALL TIME. Heck, Arteta is 10th top assister and he joined Everton in 2005.
