Yup no one is denying his dominance last season, but everyone hates him because of his unprofessional behaviour and attitude, Messi is a much more decent person, quite humble while Ronaldo has a big head.

Also he would have never reached 42 goals without all those dives, plus his team-mates set him up endlessley (something he would never do) and he took all the free-kicks and penalties.

As much as he´s a great player, I would never want to see him in a Barça shirt, he could score some goals, but he would only cause trouble and unstability in the dressing room, get Aguero or Benzema, or if we´re looking for a winger, Silva or even Lavezzi would be a good option.

Ronaldo is better in the air and is much better at freekicks than Messi at this point. However, the overall impact Messi brings to the game in comparison to Ronaldo's disappearance in big matches is the main dividing factor that gives Messi the edge and proves he is the world's finest player.

Also, Messi did skin Ronaldo 1-on-1 when they met in Old Trafford.

I totally agree messi sometimes makes a bigger difference, but that is NOT the main point of my thread, it is that fact that Ronaldo is more complete, not better than him in every aspect. Because messi is excellent at dribbling but awfull at the air, and Ronaldo is good at both.

Also Messi's right foot is almost non-existent while Ronaldo scores with both. I do agree with you Ronaldo is arguably the more complete footballer, but it's just that Messi possesses natural talent and vision so far beyond Ronaldo that no other factor comes close in significance.
