    Default Juventus

Anyone thinks Juventus has a good shot for taking the Serie A this season?

    Midfield looks good: Camoranesi-Melo-Diego-Giovinco.
They sold Criscito, Zanetti, Marchionni and Mellberg. Players in: Melo, Diego, Caceres, Cannavaro.
Buffon is still a world class GK. Defense looks solid with Chiellini and Cannavaro who should have an easier time in Serie A as it`s a more defensive league.
Attack is pretty much the same. Amauri, Trezeguet, Del Piero and Iaquinta.

I think they are going in the right direction and with that squad should go up a level. But no where near the level they were from 03-05.

Just I think something lacks in that squad not sure what it is.

Diego for me will be the MVP of serie a though.

They will win Serie A this season.. but it will be a hard fought battle ..

As it stands i think they have the upper hand however if Inter can get a creative playmaker behind Eto'o & Milito things could be quite different .. but as it stands Juve are front runners for the title

What is intresting about Juve this year is that they are less likely to conceed then any other defence under thier new coach, however thier fullbacks are a concern.

I just think their lack of pace may cost them perhaps. Especially in defence.

If anything is gonna dump them out of Europe it's that, they cannot contain world-class Wingers.

Great spine, weak wings. Will defianetly win Serie A unless there is a major shock from a Milan team.

God doesn't pick football teams but if he did.... they'd probably look like this

with the re-enforcements made this summer, i think the clubs got a great chance of winning serie A this season. the midfield looks top class on paper, a lot better than last season's mess. diego's stock is going to rise this year, mark my words. from what i saw of him in the europa league, this guy is a hard football player, in the sense that he's strong and hard to get off the ball. melo looked the goods in fiorentina, hope he validates the 20 million euro investment juve have made. cant wait to see him and sisoko deliver hard tackles and wreck havoc in the league and europe. in addition marchisio, camoranesi and poulsen are badasses themselves, the midfield looks like a meatgrinder.

agreed about the flanks. these are the same fears shared by the supporters on juventus message boards. secco should focus on the full backs in the winter transfer market. some names thrown about like rafinha, de silvestri, santacroce etc... but we'll see. here's hoping ferrara unlocks that potential caceres has.

would'nt mind investing on a young fast forward who can finish too. trezeguet and ADP's pace have deteriorated over the years.

thanks for that iago falque kid guys. got a shitty stream from the tim cup early this morning, and that kid was awesome.

Juventus won the Tim Cup, which means they have 95% of winning the league. Add to that Inter have zero creativity down the middle except what little Quaresma has to offer (which isn't much especially after his new hair cut, he is more of a twat now).

This season Serie A should be fun.
May permanent peace be brought to the Arab world. My heart goes out to the families of those who have lost loved one(s). I wish and hope those who are creating religious, racial, regional, and tribal divisions among/within the Arab nations would be defeated in their quest for the destruction of the Middle East.
