Well played Bob. I was worried of the match up of Bob vs Vinicius but with the help of Rakitic and Pique, he stopped Vinicius. Good game.

I liked his performance today, had lots of support from Rakitić, but was very active, stronger in duels than usual. Keep it up, Sergi :thumbsup:

Good performance. Though it has to be said Vinicius was awful today compared to the last match. Still think it's risky to play Bob in the CL against elite wingers.

He defended Vinicius better being more patient and cautious from Semedo's encounters.

Semedo should still be the RB in the long run

Great game. Vinicius didn't have much joy because bob didn't dive in and kept his distance and challenged at the right time.

Semedo's problem was trying to match Vinicius stride for stride and he got burned. He needed to hold up ahead of Vinicius and make him come for a worse angle

Semedo should have been more patient like Roberto who simply refused to go in for the challenge.

Roberto had the luxury to learn from Semedo's mistakes.

Semedo did NOT have a chance to learn to play Vinicius.

Roberto's tactic is OK until Vinicius can shoot better.

Exactly. This tactic is fine for now, becuase Vinicius struggles finishing anything, but you can't do that vs Ronaldo for example.
