Has anyone seen Scott Pilgrim vs. the World? 'Cause I think that's what I'm seeing with the boy this weekend.

Some of the zombie kills in the beginning were epic! That is all.

yep, that's what I've been reading too but I'm just worried that the reviews are influenced by the indie kids that just have to see everything Michael Cera is in.

Just watched Anamorph (with Willem Dafoe) on Sky movies. Anyone seen it?

so many plot flaws... which is a pity as I think Dafoe is a good actor.

Finally got round to watching Philadelphia. Great film, Denzel and Tom Hanks should be forced to work together again.

Saw L'Arnacouer (Heartbreakers) with Romain Duris & Vanessa Paradis last night...Had gotten a fair share of hype and RT gave it 77%...I found it pretty disappointing despite fine performances from both Paradis & Duris...Felt more like a Hollywood production rather than a French one...Entirely predictable and uninteresting ultimately

I saw Children of Men. The cinematography is AMAZING. Single shot scenes that go on for 3-4 minutes were top notch. Story was good aswell but some things were not explained.. good movie 8/10.

I must make up a very small segment of society that found Children of Men very insulting to my intellect...Just felt very contrived and predictable

found children of men a bit odd, more so because it ended in bexhill which is a very small seaside town 20 minutes from where i was born that is famous for nothing and had this whole crazy scene and culmination of a crazy piece of modern cinema there..

Children of Men was forgettable. I thought Michael Caine's hidden lair was the best part.

We are just finishing up Dexter season 1. It is pretty cool. Some good acting and terrible acting too. Cool plot. Might get the second season.

Not sure of your tastes but I'd stick with it, it does get even better in Season 2 & 3, IMHO

I think with how peculiar Dexter is, I might go ahead and stick with it. His sister I've noticed is getting less green with each episode too which is a big relief, because she started out like some retarded infantile wannabe. Cool.
