I just watched Star Trek, and I am far from being a Trekkie... Star Trek is a great movie. You don't need to know much about the show although its probably a good idea to know a little bit about the first seasons of Star Trek (the one with Captain Kirk) before watching the movie.

This movie dominates any Star Wars movie!

well u feel like the director was a big Tarantino fan.. if u liked Desperado or once upon a time in Mexico u'll love this one ...

it's white man Desperado.. hell even the rock tunes are used (loved the Ace of Spades - motorhead scene ) .. lots of unbelievable shooting scenes ala Antonio Banderas going into the bar... great sex scene with Monica and shooting bad guys while doing her... it's exactly Desperado .. so no doubt the guy wanted to make a white man version of it.. however no doubt Clive Owen (one of my fav new actors ) worst movie never the less entertainment & Monica scenes are enough for many people to watch the movie

I am not saying I did not like it for what it is, I am just saying it lacked a bit of a twisted random diagalogue. The scenes however get good marks for

And even though I am not obsessed with Monica as much as you are, you can bet your left nut on me being able to see what you love in her and to appreciate her sexyness. Doing her while killing the bad guys was :two thumbs up:

Clive Owen should play Bond at some point. Probably should have been considered before the current one, forget his name.

Tarantino's been talking about Inglorious Basterds for ages hasn't he,hope it's good when it comes out.
Mike Myers is in it,and i wonder if he'll play a straight role,or if there's some goofball in it for him to play. :hmmm: it's not really the kind of topic that would suit goofing i guess, but i'm sure QT will make it work regardless.
also, nice to see Maggie Cheung, not in this, just in general.
