Monique killed Landfill in Beerfest. His attempt to drink himself out of the vat... now that's Oscar worthy

My brother said the same thing. In fact, his reaction when I asked him if it was any good was more than enough to keep me from watching it.

It's a good film, but doesn't line up alongside other oscar winners. Don't know why you wouldn't watch it though. Even DM said it was good (albeit not amazing).

The academy just wanted to look cool and snub Avatar. I mean I know it's nothing special but considering the competition it should have won more awards. After all the hype and box office success, JC was brought down to earth. Not that he would care too much lol.

Yeah and it did look cool with hurt locker winning over Avatar.

Come to think of it, 2009 was a really bad year for movies. Good time for the underdogs to be nominated, Sandra, Jeff, Monique, etc...who woiuld have thought they'd get even close.

Inglorious Basterds should have swept the awards.

But you're right, this was the year for people to win awards that had always been so close in previous years. So glad Jeff Bridges won though..

I saw Precious. MoNique is crazy man! I was scared of her. Everytime she came up on the screen, i wet myself.

The fight between her and the other one was so funny. I was LMAO, even when she threw the baby.. i need therapy.

District 9 was so bad. I thought I was in the twighlight zone when a few of my brothers were going on about how great it was.

I'm not moved by media hype. Prawns? Scared prawns? It was just cheesy imo.
