Well we all know that Italian teams are obsessively incestuous with their signings, so I'm sure that Juventus have massive hard-ons at the thought of signing Kaka, given that he has played for Milan already. Shame that he hasn't yet been at Roma or Inter. That's what Mancini's for!

cesc refused to sign the contract renewal, apparently.

His current one doesn't run out before 2014 so even if it's true it's nothing to look at imo.

Rumors have surfaced that Madjid Bougherra, a French-born Algerian footballer who currently plays for Rangers and the Algeria national team, is being watched between now and the end of the season by Pep Guardiola's Barca scouts. Further, Guardiola had scouts present to watch Algeria in the CAN and he has asked for and watched a series of tapes of the players performances subsequently.

Bougherra scored a goal & provided one against Ivory Coast for Algeria in CAN, he's a CB who can play in mid field as well. Apparently he's being watched because Milito's long-term future is not yet certain

    Edited:
Now it's The Yaya & Keiteee who are actually recommending the defender to Pep

By the looks of it he has the qualities that Puyol has and that we looked for in Caceres. And he's twice as fast as Chygnasty (who's looking more and more like a flop tbh).

It would be the most idiotic signing if we were to get bougherra... he is much much below the quality of Barcelona

Exactly, there's a reason he plays for Rangers.

the reason that he looked good in CAN and in Africa is because he is an absolute thug. the thing that he got away with in CAN, I dont think La Liga refs would even let him get close to it. also, I think that most of it came from his passion for algeria. if one really wants to sign an african, then we should go really look at the talents of el-muhammadi (rb) or geddo (goal scoring midfielder/attacking midfielder).

el- muhammadi is young and had a going rate of 3 m.

Oh man... He'll definitely flop like Goldeen.

Bougherra is a cnut with a huge attitude problem.

He played for my second team (Sheff Wed) and was a right stroppy git. You really do not want him. No where near Barca standard.
