If Barca had a more defensive playstyle maybe then the defenders could be ok, the midfielders wont make it, their not quick enough and dont have the techinque, Rooney might make it but thats just becouse hes probably the best player in EPL

Even if you got a player in England with wonderful tecnique, they wouldnt be near south american/european players.

Ridiculously stereotypical and fairly ignorant. Whilst on the whole the league is nowhere near as technical, to suggest the likes of Rooney, J Cole would be found wanting abroad is stupid. There are always exceptions to the rule and there are several English players who could play in Spain no problem. Someone like Hargreaves would offer the defensive ability of Yaya mixed with great ability on the ball.

Ashley Young is nowhere near Barca level, he can be very effective but he's not intelligent enough to play for us. Milner is a cleverer player but I don't think he'd get more than a Keita-esque squad role.

It doesn't look like a possibility, but I really wouldn't mind if that happened. Like any transfer, it would either be a success or a flop or somewhere inbetween. He's a good player afterall - works hard, very good crosser of the ball, relatively fast, he'd fit the system quite well.

We lost the magic, all conquering edge this season and that needs to be rediscovered pronto, Pep handles the mental side, but we need the management to bring in the best around and keep us hungry and peaked. We need only the absolute creme de la creme of players, anything less is a failure and reflects very badly on the club. I hate the shit planning that went into our LW this season, and honestly, thank fuck for Pedro, because without him alarm bells would've gone off way earlier.
