We need a player with top passing skills, anything other than that wouldn't work no matter how good the player is. Our midfield is basically built on moving the ball around and making quality passes, hope we can find someone with those qualities.

ok people who think that if we lose henry we cant replace his goals. robinho, mata and silva will score the same amount of henry, the question is will they be clutch like him in big games show up. i agree with zanela here saying they right now cant do what henry did for us last year. its gonna be taking a chance if we replace henry with any of those guys.

beautifulgame posted some good vids. Henry was very good last season but now he seems to have lost his drive and tbh. I haven't seen him produce a good game so far. Mata would be an ideal replacement but I don's see Valencia selling. If they managed to ward off the suitors this summer when they looked bankrupt...

Being a brilliant manager doesn't mean an excellent eye for talent.. see Maxwell , Caceres,Henrique,Shagmisskey & wanting to sell Eto'o last year

Beast; Caceres, henrique and Maxwell were Txiki's signings not Pep's...
Pep wanted F.luis for LB...but yes, chyg was his signing.

How many games has Chygg had?? How can you say he's a bad signing when he hasn't been given a chance really?

Give it a season before you judge a player coming from abroad and from a lower league.

It's always Txiki call for all the bad signing , right ? all the good ones are Pep
Alves,Ibra are Pep all the rubbish for Txiki .. nice logic there

I'm not Txiki biggest fan in fact i think he is an idiot but considering the characteristics of Pep and his control freak nature you'll find it very hard to sell the idea that Txiki forced players on Pep .
Pep may have asked for more players but every single player since Pep arrival was Pep's choice

ok, i think we can all agree by now that if Pep doesnt like something...he either ships them out or doesnt give them enough chance in the team.
    Take these examples...
Caceres - not given enough games - loaned out
Henrique - Just the pre-season - Loaned out
Maxwell - has been playing only the odd home game against weak opposition. Abidal is still pep's first choice at LB.
Kierrison - Loaned out even without having given a chance
Now, if all the above were Pep's signing, he'd 've given them more opportunities to prove themselves, like he is showing confidence in Chyg...He was straight way incorporated in the starting XI without having to wait for his chance - AM(H), Getafe(A), Malaga(A)...and if he hadn't got injured h'd be playing more games...
In short, what i'm trying to say is - Pep always has more confidence & patience with regard to his signings & gives them decent chances to succeed which wasn't the case with the ones i mentioned before implying that they weren't his signings. Its that simple darling

man pep is a control freak and he has made some bungles and good buys. i just dont agree with his stance on robinho, but i will happily be proved wrong and admit it.

Hah, you won't be proved wrong, Yusuf. Robinho will be the stupidest signing in the history of Barça (sorry blueduck)

Talent wise, Robinho is very good. We all know that. It's just his off-pitch ways that annoy everyone. All his partying and late nights blah blah. If Pep can drill him with a certain mentality and maybe make him a bit scared of missing training, i think he can become a good player.

I would definately loan him. We get a player we want for minimum pric and also a look at how he can play in our system and how he'll adapt to Pep's strictness.

Arshavin is my no. 1 for the LW. Hopefully Arsenal dont win anything again this season so we may be able to tempt him out.
