Default Your reactions to Iniesta's goal

Not sure if theres already a thread dedicated to this, sorry if there is

6th May, 93rd Minute, Andres Iniesta gave every single Barcelona fan a reason to go nuts.

    What was your reaction?

Mine-On the verge of tears, jumped around the room, onto the table, screaming singing and dancing-not ashamed to admit it, that goal was just as important in sending us through in the fact that it was Chelsea we knocked out, that made it even more special because they, quite frankly, are evil. Good beat evil, =], and good god it was amazing.

    Anyway...on with the replies...

At the time i didnt realise i was witnessing history. It seemed very unreal, although very real at the same time because i had been convincing everyone for the full 90 minutes that we would score. It wasn't as much unbelieveable as opposed to euphoric.

First thing i did was turn to jordan and hug the hell out of him and we were all jumping around. Then we were all being pushed around by loads of other culés who were going just as crazy as us. I ran down to the front as far as i could and was just celebrating with all the players. It wasn't until the final whistle that i realised what it meant. It was beautiful.

On that evening, i sat side-by-side with my friend, a chelsea fans. From the time abidal sent off, he scented something. He said, "I don't know why but I got a feeling that someway barca would win this game...."Well, i couldn't blame him for what he felt, cause barca still keeping the ball neatly and still attacking. And when that goal came, I just smiled to my friend and said, "You know what's wrong with your team? You have one player benefit and yet you still played defensively against barcelona. Dude, it's a suicide...." And I just kept smiling.

That's my reaction, just a smile. I don't blast and screamed at the top of my lung, maybe because i knew that barca deserve to win and that was their destiny. I was destiny calling for barca and especially for iniesta. A destiny calling.....

When the ball met his foot, I was standing up. Then, I hear the ESPN commentators having a wtf moment (I didn't see the goal because I was already jumping up and down before it went in), and I ran straight into the wall! Then I jumped until my legs were numb, and screamed 'til my voice was lost. I banged on a metal door in the house, also. I did laps in my house.

My US friend beside me was screaming, too. It's always amazing to watch football with friends.

I went absolutely mental, running around my flat screaming GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL at the top of voice till my lungs were burning, I think I dropped to my knees at one point just screaming "WE'RE GOING TO ROMA" and there were tears in my eyes because I knew we would be in the final.

I don`t think anything can match what maz and Jordan experienced at Camp Nou...
I remember looking at our chat, hearing commentator saying "messi...", turned my head back to TV and there it was. After that there I knelt down and yelled and the whole neighbourhood probably knew Barca scored a goal.

    Default thanks iniesta

before the match (2nd leg againts chelsea)... i was worried that chelsea made score at early minutes...cos i think they will change their tactic into ultradefensive....after essien scored in 9th minute...w could see anelka in their own 16 yard box.like dejavu....the 1st leg match repeated at stamford bridge....
god bless abidal's red card. soon after abidal shown a redcard. chelsea started to attack.....i lost hope since the reff shown that red.
    finally...93rd minute....struck from iniesta....through cech's goal at topleft corner....
    i screamed...jumped...stand on my knees.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!screamed...screame d!!!!!!!!!!!!
    thanks to iniesta.....

We were around 7-8 at the table and the moment the ball was in the box we were all silently whispering C'mon, C'mon....C'MON.
When we saw the shot the first time half a second of silence then GOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Everybody going nuts in the bar and me in a state of euphoria running crazy across the bar and suddenly a ambuscade of fans screaming for 5 minutes, took a whole beer like a shot. Best moments from a sport ever.
