PSG drop to 4th on the table if Marseille win their game, though PSG will probably turn things around and win the league comfortably in the end.

Almost amusing how he signed for the length of Mbappe contract. They must have sat there since Christmas trying to talk him into something longer.

Got nothing to do with Mbapp? even if as a Real Madrid you care more about him.

It is also the length of Neymar contract. One could say it coincides with Qatar WC and could signal the end of PSG project from the Qatari overlords.

Realistically, his contract mirrors the latest contracts signed by PSG managers recently. Laurent Blanc signed for 2 years, Emery signed for 2 years, Tuchel signed for 2 years, Pochettino is signing for the same duration (6 months less due to his arrival in January obviously).

It is about reducing the risk in case of failure.

Some crazy stuff going on in Marseille this afternoon. Idiotic "fans". :banghead:

RMC Sport report that tonight?s previously scheduled Ligue 1 match between Marseille and Rennes has been cancelled following an attack that OM?s own fans launched on their club?s own training ground, resulting in 25 arrests. The news has now been confirmed to the LFP.

OM made the request to the LFP this afternoon, who asked Rennes if they would accept such a decision, and they did not oppose Marseille?s demand. SRFC?s players will travel back home this evening.

The Marseille fans want the resignation of President Jacques-Henri Eyraud and are furious about the team?s poor form.

Breaking | Marseille fans hit defender Alvaro Gonzalez with a projectile during their storming of the training ground this afternoon, according to L'?quipe. More follows.

Alvaro Gonzalez is understood to have a minor injury to his back as a result.

Gonzalez was hit by Marseille fans by accident, who were actually principally after Dimitri Payet & Jacques Henri Eyraud, according to RMC.

Sources close to Alvaro Gonzalez tell RMC: ?he is doing good.?

RTL report that during the Marseille fans? attack of their own training ground this afternoon, the looters seized, opened and flung Andr? Villas Boas? suitcase.

Would be funny if PSG screws around thinking they'll win the title anyway and somehow Lyon snatch it.

They are not even "screwing around". They are just that bad. A very average team with only 2 or 3 talents : Navas, Neymar and Mbapp?. The latter having an average season. Navas not being here to save our ass again exposed how bad we really are. Can't fluke wins.

Lyon aren't much better but they are maybe more of a team than PSG are. Also Lyon does have a midfield and it is where games are won. Verratti wasn't here either due to Covid, not surprising.

I'm sure on Camp Nou they'll focus and show their best version. You're surely exaggerating. To me it's classic case of complacency from playing in a weaker league. We're talking about the last year's CL finalist after all. How bad can they be really?
