I know but its not ideal as proved by the Walcott situation. Arsenal just don't want him to get really burned out, he plays in a more physically demanding league than Busquets and needs a long rest. I mean Arsenal pay his wages and if he gets injured after/during the tournament it'll effect us much more than Pearce.

So, in this case, we're back to interests of club >>>>> interests of country.

And why do you think the English league is more demanding physically? Not tryign to wind up but don't really get that comment unless you mean all the extra games over christmas.

That and the fact that English teams are more physical. That's not a criticism of La Liga, more a criticism of the EPL.

Yeh an English league season is more tiring that La Liga or other top leagues, the pace and the lack of a break at any point knackers all the players. There's no point sending Wilshere to that tournament IMO, he's already mature and good enough for the senior starting 11. If you're at that point then you don't need to be playing U21 football. Busquets shouldn't be going either.

'FABIO CAPELLO made England's stars watch videos of Barcelona beating Arsenal to boost his team's Euro 2012 bid.'

Gunners ace Jack Wilshere revealed: "We watched Barcelona, the way they pressed and we tried to do it like them.

"We pressed high and the idea was to get some early goals and we got them. We made it comfortable for ourselves."

Midfielder Wilshere, 19, added: "The whole squad watched Barcelona's game against us and the way they press high.

"They are the best at it in the world and we have to learn from teams like that.

"At my age I am always learning."

Wilshere was outstanding alongside Scott Parker and Frank Lampard in a new-look England midfield as Capello's men regained top spot in Group G. He said: "After the 0-0 draw with Montenegro, we knew we had to come here and win.

"It was like a derby and the boys are delighted with the three points."

I thought so, It looked like a very different England play-style than we saw against Denmark a few weeks ago. England don't usually press like they did against Wales, Pressed them like hell at some points and gave the opposition hardly any time on the ball, Sometimes even comitting two or three players on one. It worked though.

I just heard that on Football Weekly w/ James Richardson. one of the panel commentators said that it's easy for England to play like Barcelona when it's Wales (who he then compared to Arsenal). then they ripped Rooney.
