Had an appearance on Graham Norton Show, seems like a likable person honestly

Drogba is a lot more than being a good header

I knw. There a is lot of ignorance in regards to the drogs on this board(someone even said llorente has better technique and mobility than Drogba

). They seem to think he can't do much else outside his target play. When in truth he's one of the most technically sound centerforward in the world. He's quite good on the ball, and can set up his teammates in the attacking third. He's been top 3 assistman in the EPL 3 times for nothing. He's a set-piece specialist and also takes corners for his team(a rarity for a CF). A big game player to boot. I'd be hoping he doesn't join you.

He's 34. At the run-in of the next season when we could possibly need him in the big games, he'll be 35 already. And he's won everything there is to win now on club level. There is nothing he can give us anymore. Not worth the € 5 million salary (probably even more, I don't buy it that he will accept a pay cut) for the odd 2 games in the season where we MAYBE could need him and where he MAYBE could deliver something. If Bayern would have won the CL, I would have said: get him. Then he would give everything in the CL for us. But not anymore.

So torn between the two sides of Drogba. He is such a BEAST on the pitch but he's also a very big c*nt :)

His playacting can be quite annoying but i don't remember him foulmouthing, or try and intentionally hurt an opponent. There is nothing malicious about him(the vidic slap was more a heat of the moment occurrence). I don't think he deserves being branded the same as the likes of Terry, Suarez, Pepe etc.

Oh no definitely not! I think we call Terry, Suarez and especially Pepe other things :D He is nowhere near those players.
But he is annoying. Take the first leg of our CL encounter and he dived everytime a player got near him. Still I think he could be great for Barça.

He confirmed on Chelsea's official website that he's leaving the club. Nothing mentioned about his next possible destination though, he only said that he needs "a new challenge"

Drogba is such an amazing player! and deserves the big pay check in China now! which i am sure alot of will be spent on building schools and hospitals in his country. LEGEND!!!

As much as I like Drogba, Barcelonista is right here. I was mentioning the same points before the CL final and nothing has changed for my part now when he actually has won the CL.

Drogba has indeed offered himself if the local rumours are to believed but they are also all in agreement that he is the B option - not the priority.

But glad that he won the CL despite playing for an insignificant English team. He and a few others on that team deserve it.
