Terrible fist half. Excellent second half. Good game. Dest and Braithwaite best players imo.
Not at all mate. Biggest difference was better decision making in the final 3rd in the 2nd half.
Other than that, team was disciplined and
pressed sustainedly and consistently during all 90 min.
Not to overemphasize it again, but that's possible
ONLY WITHOUT Messi, because he does not defend and by that completely crumbles any organized defensive plan that involved sustained high pressing.
Even with reserves starting, we saw what's possible with pressing. Dynamo did not threaten at all with counters (unlike the first leg at Cap Nou).
Imagine with the same discipline and tactics, but with better players and finishing in the final third.
PS1: Koeman is doing a good job so far, and if Messi was gone this would have been way more evident. It's time for his critics to admit that.
PS2: With the danger of becoming tiring, I will write it again. Dest is like 20 hundred times better than Roberto at RB. No need to start the worse of the two just to respect whatever power hierarchy exists in the locker room
Some good moments from a lot of less seen players even though match was quite chaotic, especially in the first time. I find a recurring sensation that whenever i watch Barca without Messi, the game is more fun to watch. More unpredictable and no standing around gazing at GOAT and being scared what he thinks of them, when they don't pass to him.
