The Spanish Super Cup, (January 13 to 17) might not be played in Saudi Arabia because the presence of fans are not allowed due COVID-19, with the economic consequences that it entails. The RFEF wants to maintain those dates but without leaving Spain (via @partidazocope)

No idea what to make of this game. Sevilla looked comical in defence (at least the first minutes), but Madrid equally as comical in attack. Benzema channels his inner Suarez. Vinicius looks shot. No confidence. Rodrygo is no (natural) right winger at all.
Worst player has been Mendy though. Hes in terrible form.
You clearly see that Madrid wants to win, they are giving 100% but they play still trash. Dont know if the players are just too bad or Zidane's tactis are awful.

Modric still looks up for it. Thought the shedule would have killed him by now.
Modrić has this thing where he appears for 20 mins in each half, plays progressive football and the team gets nowhere on all of his effort, because of the piss poor preparation.
