Official: Barca will play their first La Liga game at the Camp Nou against Villarreal (matchday 3) in the weekend of 26 and 27 September. Barca - Elche and Athletic - Barca in the first two rounds have been postponed.

why have they been postponed?
The opening fixture will be on September 27 or 28 at home to Villarreal.
However, this game will be in the THIRD round of games. Barca, like the other teams that had European fixtures or promotion playoffs in August, will not be playing their first two sets of fixtures until Christmas.
It means that although La Liga gets going on September 12, Barca’s game against Elche will not be played until December.
Barca will be going to Vigo on September 29 or 30 to face Celta in their first away game of the campaign.

So it's not as bad as it looked like. By the middle of September we'll have an idea which players Koeman can use and which are gone. We will have a normal "pre-season" and probably play 2-3 games, during which Koeman can work out his starting 11. Let's go.
Is Madrid’s first two postponed? Maybe first one because they went out in round of 16?![]()

RFEF will be making announcements on outcomes in case season can't be finished. COPE got their hands on drafts
- European spots will be decided by 19/20 season
- if any of the Copa rounds up to and inclusive of QF level can't be played, the entire competition will be cancelled
- if 50% of the season's fixtures are not played, comps below Segunda level will not have champion, promotion or relegation
Nothing yet on awarding championship, promotion & relegation at the higher levels
People are boring.
Congratulations RM on La Liga 20/21.
