Hazard injury. Jović injuries. Varane blunders. etc etc

Paying such a huge fee for a player like Hazard at that age and who was never seen as a great trainer is not really so much bad luck.

All teams have injuries and blunders.

It isnt seen as bad luck for Dembele injuries at Barca or when if a player fucks up in a big game.

was trying to say EPL or other leagues, like the "exotic" ones from china, rusia, US, middle east etc. leagues where not much football is played but they would get bags of money.

It was clear that is what was meant. Wolfe has a bit of a chip on his shoulder about EPL.

It was a myth particularly on here.

Every young player for Real was seen as some world class replacement ready to step up and was never going to be the case. They have barely signed a player that has improved the starting eleven in years.

Real were constantly held up as having great planning and succession when was never going to be case that the old core would be replaced like that.

Barely signing players for the short term is not something to be held against a club. Instead it's the bad choices of long contracts to players who grew pissed off at not being featured as long as they'd like to.

Myth was that every player would succeed. That was the real myth. Getting them is not a problem, assuming they'll be a success and that manager will get the best out of everyone is.

Not a fan of monopolies is all. It's not like it's become a monopoly for a good reason either. Only through the wealth and invention inequality. If internet originated in France or Spain, it'd be very different.

I agree about Hazard and paying a fee. Didn't want him in the first place.
But injuries are terrible luck with a player who never suffered them and curbed anything positive he could and by all means club counted, should have, offered.

King BIG DRIP BENZ would have 100% won the game for RM today.

Clearly seeing that RM are missing their best player.

There goes the myth that Benzema is the problem with Madrid's attack.

 These guys don't have a single decent goalscorer except for Benzema.

It is not just about players for short term. Some of those players that were held up as amazing signings for future years ago and developed into nothing and some like Hazard signed for now not yet been good enough.

Real were never set for future in way was made out and have not replaced their core or barely any starters.

I know you rate likes of Mendy highly but I just dont see it.

Barca been the same as well.

Yep, its rather easy to line up a bunch of talents like Madrid did the last few years. Looking at our squad we got there in barely a year.

Such as?
We barely signed 'amazing' players, only those that obviously have plenty to offer, but were mismanaged since (Odriozola, Llorente, Jović, even Asensio) and would have grown into a structure if one was developing. Which it was under Solari.

Id say you have been lucky generally. Your results overstate your form and gameplan.

Defending well is not luck, and that much has genuinely improved with respect to 17/18 and 18/19. You'd need to be more clear. We did deserve to win the vast majority of games we played in the last 18 months.
