We are playing well because Villarreal is giving us plenty of space. The trio upfront is exploring it very well but this game is difficult to compare to all previous games where we were clueless against solid defenses.

Yea, not making any illusions about CL, but this is the approach that works best. Narrow 4-3-3 (with a 1-2 shape) with wings left open for fullbacks to run into.

Good to be up 3-1. A bit iffy defensively, and the team still slows down the tempo too much for my liking, but overall nice performance.

Very exciting game. Kind of shows how the pressure gets to the players though as now the league is practically over the performance has improved dramatically. Shows why we?ve been dumped out of Europe when the situation is tense.

Roberto, Messi and Greizmann have been fucking brilliant.

Suarez passing been better than normal as well.

Not sure Vidal suits this formation as he bombs forward so much left with six attacking players including full backs and that is too much to defend against when they break.

You guys should just enjoy a decent game for once :S

Makes me wonder why we didnt try Messi behind two strikers sooner though.

Defense wise we are horrible clearly because:

- Messi is losing balls without tracking from the CM position
- Vidal is no where to be found
- Pique and Busquets are slow
- Semedo isn?t good defense wise

Solution? Revamp the squad and introduce new young eager blood

Great first half with a high number of chances created. Who would of guessed that Griezmann is actually quite good when placed in a semblance of a front two.

Let's see the second 45 now. That's been the Achilles heel so far in covidball. Shame there's only 5 substitutions allowed.
