Why didn't they buy haaland?

It really doesn't matter what % raioli asks.
20 is still a bargain and 60 or 70% of 100+ (if you ever sell him) is still 60 or 70 million

Ans if he stays for the next 15 years, even as back-up, then everything is still ok

Haaland was never going to move to Barca to be a back up CF and seems to have his sights on EPL and going step by step up the ladder.

President of FC Barcelona
Juventus and Man Utd tried to sign Haaland.

Solskjær is the manager who gave him his debut for Molde, and he still rejected him. He was never going to join Barca. He made the best decision he could have made for his career.

The reason Dortmund and Leipzig get these kind of players to flip them for profit to bigger clubs is because they give them the chance to play every week, start a lot of games. Something bigger teams wouldn't give them.

How many times does it have to be stated that he was never going to come here this winter?!?

Plus, the pressure to deliver and having intense scrutiny is not as big as say if he were to play for Barca, Real, Bayern and etc.

Isn't Setien involved in this signing ? if yes let us see what he sees in him, maybe a better 9 than Griez that can gold space.

For sure it's an emergency mistake people complaining about this signing should be aware that we needed SOMEONE would will want to play for us and with a reasonable release clause.

The real mistake was made in the summer & winter transfer windows knowing the joke Démbélé is and not signing a backup.

Also he can't be a better loss than Démbouze & Countiho

I think that he will reach heights of Alfonso Perez, Maxi Lopez and Santiago Ezquerro at Barca.

Hope.

We are not talking about defensive minded midfielders.

He is an attacker.
I love those who bang goals.

Fair enough. So you wanna see direct contributions like key passes, assists and goals. But let's not neglect that forwards do press and defend too, and with Messi not doing much in this regard, we need others who can. With Griezmann and this guy we will be very good in this area.

But ultimately, he will turn out to be good if he can finish his chances, because he will get them.

His technique - judging by his presentation (first few touches of him I consciously saw) - looks shocking  I try to remain open minded and hope he turns out well though.

No it isn't. KBP was a washed up 30 year old loanee who thought he won a lottery ticket to get to train at Barcelona for 6 months, attend the Amigos' parties and hope he wouldn't suck too much when actually having to play. Braithwaite is a proper transfer of a respectful player who not only agreed to leave a team he was a topscorer for when he could refuse and has to try and make something of it instead of pissing the opportunity away. Plus it's under a different manager. So as long as Messi and Alba aren't cunts about it and actually put in the effort to incorporate and use him, he'll be a useful rotation player. One you didn't really have since Pedro left.

Read what I wrote again.

Imagine comparing Braithwite (or whatever the fuck his name is) with Lucas Vasquez, or even worse: Pedro Rodriguez.

Vasquez came back to Madrid as a 23 years old youngster who showed good potential and who grew up at Real Madrid and perfomed there in younger teams.

Pedro was just a starter in the best ever Barça side, also a starter for a World Cup and Euro winning team, arguably one of the greatest NT sides ever. And he performed amazingly well for both these teams. Yeah that’s the kind of backups we used to have.

Now we have Braith-whatever and we should be happy. Who gives a shit about players who came before him ? They all failed, and he’ll do no different. Cause all those guys aren’t Barça material, so Barça should never waste money on them. There are tons of players in the B team who aren’t Barca material, and at least they’re free. But this shit board sells them for peanuts and spends big money on 30yo nonames.

About you, there is no doubt you’re troll. I wouldn’t even be surprised if you’re one of those guys Barto and his friends pay money to for writting shit on the internet to try to make them look good.
