PSG is trying his best to get Kouassi to renew. He is getting a lot of playing time. And he is really promising. He didn't feel like a 17 y.o player when he was in the team. Still not starter potential at the moment but he really seems to have the level to be in the rotation and maybe in the future become a starter if everything goes right. The problem is he has supposedly signed a pre contract with Leipzig. Leipzig and other german clubs are very aggressive on the young players needing only post-formation. They offer more money than even PSG can offer to the youth (PSG could agree to pay as much but then every academy player would ask insane money and it wouldn't be sustainable).

We have not seen Aouchiche enough, sadly. He did very good in the French Cup but it was against an amateur side. i hope he will sign too but he is not as close to the first team as Kouassi.

Edit: And PSG academy players are highly rated over there. Just look at Nkunku or Diaby in Bundesliga. They are considered among the best rookies of the year.

Off topic but some PSG youth will face Barça youth soon in the Al Kass tournament in a few days.

I wonder if he could be the perfect Barca 9.

First came across him on FM, and then watched a few YouTube videos recently, so would be really interested to hear from someone who has watched him more closely.

Other than the obvious stats which indicate he is on his way to becoming an elite finisher (25 goals in 28 games in Scotland, 4 in 8 in Europa League, 5 in 10 in CL), he just seems to have the most unique skillset for a 9 - fast, tall, physical, agile, great at link up play (on the ground and as a target man)...and more importantly for Barca looks super comfortable in tight spaces, has a few trick moves, and can DRIBBLE past players 1 on 1.

So rare to see that sort of combination of traits in a striker....wondering if he is worth the punt as at 22 years he is probably just about to hit his prime.
