Date of Birth: Nov 21, 2001 (18)
Citizenship: Argentina
Current club: Boca Juniors II
Position: Centre-back
Height: 1,80 m
Foot: Left

According to Catalan media we are close to sign a young Argentinian CB for Barça B. His contract with Boca is expiring so we'll probably only need to pay for rights of development even though Boca president is apparently upset with the way we've signed Mingo. I'll probably call him by his second surname, can't really talk myself into calling a Barça player Ramos. Wouldn't really mind if he'd become at least half as good (and not as stupid :p) as Madrid Ramos but more likely he's just another kid we plan to make some profit on in a year or two. Anyway, wish him all the best and maybe he'll surprise us. :)

While not exactly tall for a CB he looks good in the air and tackling, can't really say much more based on this short highlight video.

Not to long ago Boca's president accused some Board members and agents within the Boca club, that went behind his back in regards to this deal.

The problem He will have though is Mingo, didn't have a professional first-team contract and was basically free to go where ever he wanted as his youth contract expires soon. That's what I read not to long ago as well.

Barcelona rejected an offer from a club in Europe for Bar?a B defender Ramos Mingo a week ago. The club think he has the potential to end up replacing Lenglet and/or Umtiti in the squad. [md]

He has recovered from Covid and is training with the first team. Looking forward to see him playing in friendlies.

Last year, Boca Juniors filed a lawsuit against Barcelona for the signing of Santiago Ramos Mingo. Boca Juniors wanted 17.5M euros. Bar?a won the case. Boca Juniors must pay over 93,000 euros that will be shared between the club and player (via @jbatalla7)
