Was there some rule in place keeping the La Liga/big teams from meeting each other or is it just a RFEF "coincidence" :lol:

Not officially, theoretically we could've seen El Clasico or play Sevilla, Bilbao, Valencia,... Only rule was that six Segunda A/B Division teams couldn't be drawn against each other. They've first drawn those teams and pair them with La Liga opponents (with lower division teams hosting the games) and then the last two pairs were drawn among the remaining four La Liga teams where we were lucky to get a home game against Leganes. Playing at Anoeta, in Pamplona or away at Leganes would be a lot tougher draw.

Interesting start to Tenerife-Bilbao game. Herrerin with a red card in 2nd minute (BTW, former Barça B GK Jokin Ezkieta is now Bilbao's GK while Adrian Ortola is in goal for the home side), then Tenerife got a lead a few minutes later from a penalty.

We'll see if the Basques can come back from this bad start.
