While the history books will show that Rm won those 4 titles they had alot of help from the refs and the draws. No doubt.
Uefa badly wanted a Classico final during la liga heydays. It never happened. Imagine a classico final happening from 2009 to 2018. Would have been a dream come true for UEFA.

Arturo Vidal: "We have trained very little with Setien." [win sports]

LMFAO wonder if the Setien defence squad will assemble faster than Voltron this time.

What is training? Nobody relly knows, it's metaphysical anyway, like fitness training. We shoulnd' put to much attention on it.

Arturo Vidal : "Hemos trabajado muy poco con Seti?n" [Gerard Romero]

Before ppl claim out of context lmfao

He's talking about the short amount of time Setien's been there. Not that they train very little under Setien.

You post Romero as a source, but he even replied on this specific tweet clarifying that Vidal is lamenting the circumstances rather than Setien.

Seti?n doesn't want Messi to drop deep to try and create chances in the Champions League. The coach considers it'd only hurt him up front. To make life easier for Messi, Seti?n has instructed Puig and De Jong to be very precisely with their passing plays to the forwards. [md]"

Setien is no fool, contrary to what some people here think.

He knows where the problem lies, but apparently he does not have the power to correct it

He is trying to be respectful I guess. Messi strikes me as an arrogant egoistic introvert

Spot on. Messi making risky passes from midfield is good but hurts our overall game. Messi should be the one looking for goals, in the end he is the best goal scorer in the world by far. Maybe passer too but we need goals from him

He obviously knows where the problem lies. He has a great football brain and has a team of football nerds. Valverde most likely knew it too but couldn't do shit either. Lucho the only on who could convince Messi to stay wide and play as a attacker.

Messi should man up in the CL and play as a attacker. Its just 5 games ffs.

This is why I sometimes look forward to when Messi leaves because only then a true rebuild can be done. Maybe I sound ungrateful but I simply can't understand why Messi has to destroy our structure all the time. Stay on top and let our midfielders who actually are great create.

Don't you guys think Messi would leave the playmaking responsibility if we'd actually have players who could handle it?

Props to Setien for addressing the problem. Let’s see if he can execute it.

Need Messi in that 10 role with a midfield feeding him the ball, would be a nightmare for opposition. That’s why Puig has to start for me, he’s the only one who’s looked capable of playing risky balls forward.
