Lethal player. Japan's future star alongside HIROKI.

Scouting reports have been extremely positive.

I'd never seen him play until yesterday but he and that South Korean lad, Hwang Hee-Chan, tore Liverpool's defense apart all game long.

Very interesting player. He's probably not good enough for Barca but hopefully we are still following him as we could use a versatile player like him. IF he'll continue to play like this in the CL it's very likely Red Bull won't let him go and his next club will be Leipzig.

RB has quite possibly has the best scouting department in the world at the moment. Or at least close to the level of Ajax, Benfica etc.
Every season Salzburg loose their best players and their coaches, and they play with an entirely altered squad each season, yet they always perform above expectations in Europe with players you never heard of before, all coming from lower leagues and small football countries.

Rangnick is arguably one of the most underappreciated masterminds in football, even Leipzig is incredibly well managed and they're likely to push right into Brazil with their Bragantino project now and get their hands on the best talent pool in football.

On his way to Liverpool for his release clause of 8m.

It's a transfer like this that Barca should take a look at. He's been quality in the CL and he's available for next to nothing, even if he fails it's not that big of a loss.

He is a better fit (not a better player, but skillset-wise) for our LW position than both Griezmann and Dembele are. Watch Barto splash 180m+Dembele on Neymar in the summer though.

Barca is unable to make smart transfers. Its a disgrace how bad we are in signing players, there is world of difference between us and the likes of Madrid and Liverpool. How can we be so incompetent? With the resources at hand and established position in Pep and laporta era we could have dominated World football till now. What a waste. People love hating on Valverde but the real sinner is the sporting department. Paco 30m,Turan 35m,Dembele 105+40, Coutinho 150m, vermaelen 20m, firpo 30m?, malcom 40m, boateng... Andre gomes 35 and even griezmann 120m... All could be considered bad transfers.

Yeah, all this forum loves Bartomeu, the whole board and hates Valverde. You can see all the posters gushing over how good of a sporting project these guys have or how good the transfers have been.

The fact that Valverde is a mediocre coach has nothing to do with it.

Well sure, we've made some poor transfers, but this team is still one of the best in the World, but it rarely plays like one.

All the talk about Haaland but just recently following 2 or 3 matches of Salzburg, I've been more impressed by Minamino and Hwang. Haaland is usually banging them in but these 2 guys create havoc all across the front line, they're everywhere.

There was another guy last night against Liverpool that impressed me, a midfielder Mwepu(? ) or something like that. Dude took on the whole Liverpool mid at times. Not afraid to dribble, kept posession of the ball despite being pressed by Pool's players, made smart forward passes, had pace and with those long legs he was good at tackling too. Maybe it was only one match but he was world class against the best team in the world last night.

Probably just one of those clubs wheere the whole team looks better than the sum of its parts but still, some nice players Salzburg has.

This would be a really great winter signing. I just wonder if we really want to make it harder for Ansu to get minutes this season though.

I said the real sinner, not the only.

Played really well in both games against Liverpool. Hwang is even better imo, apparently has a release clause between 20-25m

Would honestly not surprise me a bit if Klopp make him as good as Mane and Mo Salah. He is already very good btw.
