Meh. I don't rate Ibra at all so yeah, maybe you're right. Prices are ridiculous though.

robinho had a really good season considering he's playing a mixed bag of a team that didn't really have a set-system or even a stable roster of players. not to mention the only players able to link with him to a similar level of quality were ireland and bellamy (who got injured after like 5 matches). elano too but he was having a bad year.
he'll improve, especially if they get him some proper forwards to play alongside.
30m probably was a bit much for him (20-25m seems more accurate) but chelsea were the ones who offered the 30m, so city had to match that if they wanted to get their man so to mock them for spending that much seems a bit silly.
there's a lot of hatred of city around, and I can't figure out why. they're even being compared negatively to chelsea which fucking baffles me. I find chelsea far more repugnant. they had spent years pre-roman tarting themselves up paying ridiculous money to big name foreigners, running the club into so much debt that the summer pre-roman they could only afford one player to come in on a free-signing. they were all set to do a leeds 'til he saved them. they don't play attacking football, it is, in fact, dour and defensive despite billions spent. they're notorious for letting player-power get managers sacked, even now they don't bother to control/restrain/discipline their animal-like players and staff (remember the racist groundsman and evra). and then there's the fact that their transfer strategy was very much a perez-esque "gotta catch 'em all!" attitude but even more haphazard where they spent something like 250m in two summers or some ridiculous shit. at least city have a sound and sensible transfer policy which only intermittently descends into absurdity.
and whatever you think of sheikh whateverhisnameis, at least he didn't make his fortune robbing his own people blind and then sit there in the director's box like a gormless smurf on acid pretending that he isn't heartbroken by the fact that no matter how much money he throws at peter fucking kenyon (and there's the #1 reason why chelsea are worse than anyone) he'll never be able to recreate the kind of magical football he saw over 180 minutes in spring 2005.
fucking choke on that you cockney fuckers.
IMAKEMADBEATS
Good lad Meta, at least somebody is sticking up for lil' old City.
man, i can watch that iniesta goal over and over again.
Blueduck is this the new City kit?
If it is then I will take this moment and cherish the fact that Barca hasn't sold out to Arab billionaires and we don't have Arabic scribbles on our kits.
whatever they say. city will be there in europe come 3-4 years with all the money they have.
Arabic 'scribbles'? Having the Arabic language is like having a terrorist? Shame on you both!
I find it hilarious though, like really funny that an English club will be written all over it in Arabic. You guys sold out! Next thing you know, Sky Sports are broadcasting in both languages![]()
it looked good... man city players should have had sharmoota written all over them for advertisement purposes![]()
