So far Haaland, Mbappe and Camavinga linked to Real Madrid vs barca potentially making ter stegen the highest paid goalkeeper in the world and linked to no one. Just barca things!

What do you mean, we're linked with Depay, Wijnaldum and Garcia :messi:

Real can be linked with anyone it does not mean anything.

Before summer new board us there so we might be all for Haaland.

For sure it does mean something.

Links and interviews do give indication of probability. But some factors in the equation should never be forgotten -> Raiola.

Mbappe and Camavinga are more likely than anyone else. Probably Kounde too.
Not entirely a fan of this French cohort creation, but it could work fine. And Zidane could be gone within 1-1.5 years. He's probably being kept as the big magnet for Mbappe, but other than that, nobody knows.

you're all good as kounde and camavinga haven't won anything yet and mbappe still has a point to prove at Real(at least winning a CL and Ballon D'or).

on the other hand, real is also linked with pogba. and that might be a problem since he is part of the WC winning french cohort that doesn't give a fuck anymore.

The only link with Pogba is the one between him & Zidane. It may prove to be a sufficient one to have him sign on a free with us, but Perez doesn't just sign anyone Zidane rates, much less a Raiola client. It will depend on how much cash we'll have after/during Corona next summer and if Perez whimsically gets rid of Modrić and/or Isco just to accommodate Zidane's wish.
I don't think we'll sign him, particularly if Odegaard and Fede have another good year.

People forget that Perez is very very very much a mark for himself. He always backs 'his' transfers and barely ever admits getting things wrong. Pogba is not his idea. Cristiano was not Perez's 'idea'. Bale, James, Kaka and Hazard are Perez's flagship ideas and president-player-agent negotiations went 100x smoother than any other players we bought. If Perez isn't into you and you have a dickwad agent, it's not very likely it'll materialise. Not when we're penny pinching and refusing to hand out hefty bonuses.

Yes, Perez and Haalands agent dont get along, but that is much easier to fix than dealing with PSG.
Mbappe is a bigger gamble, while we sit around hoping for Mbappe to run down his contract, Barca could be making a deal with the significantly cheaper Haaland, while we we end up empty-handed as Mbappe eventually renews with PSG anyway(probably).

Haaland is not significantly cheaper. Not until 2022 when clause kicks in. Either now and more so when he gets on serious form he'll cost as much if not more than Mbappe.

What do you think PSG will ask for Mbappe next summer? They are going to ask for the world, because thats how the current transfer market works, also because its PSG, who are basically impossible to negotiate with(they wanted 300 mill from Barca to buy back Neymar...).

I cant seeing Dortmund asking for the same as PSG(next year), also, Haalands clause in 2022 is a sure thing, isnt it? Mbappe running down his contract is not a sure thing.

The only scenario where Haaland isnt cheaper than Mbappe is if Mbappe actually runs down his contract, which is, as said, a huge gamble.

Mbappe is a flagship signing slated as showcase for opening of the new Bernabeu.

PSG will push for getting return on their investment - 150-200M. Only to retain prestige and say they haven't made a loss by buying him and not winning CL with him & Ney.
Real will pay or wait till winter depending on results of this season, Corona-related financial impact and ability to shift Bale's 21/22 salary (if he's even in the club and a deal we don't know about has not been agreed with Levy, there were reports Spurs have potentially paid us a fee to cover the entirety of his remaining wage with Real for remainder of his contract and he'll just get released next summer).

Mbappe either arrives for 150-200 in summer 21, or if he kicks up a fuss over having to wait if Real don't want to pay that, in winter for a smaller sum, possibly in the range of 60-100. Which is still a bit of a pisstake for a player with 6 months left on his contract, but at that point Real will want to bring him in and not risk losing him to Liverpool or another club due to taking a stance 'we like you but we don't think you're worth x'.

Camavinga will hopefully cost us no more than 50 with a year left.

Haaland is 150-200 until winter 2022, even just to entice Dortmund to the idea of letting him go before they can't say no. More when on form.

10 goals in 10 games vs stronger opponents (Bayern, PSG, Liverpool, Napoli, Leipzig, Lazio). Great tally for a 20 yo striker that we only ever first heard about 1 year ago.

The next president should be pushing hard to sign him. Who gives a fuck if he does not have “Barca DNA”

This guy scores goals. That’s all that matters.
