Erling Braut Haaland

thats the case, atm players will be scared to come to us. They want to get a 0-3, 0-4 or a 2-8 humilation.

Can flip that and say less pressure to come to Barca and be a success after those defeats and also carrot of huge profile world wide if can be seen to take Barca back to top.

Players will look at what they can do and in some ways going to Barca with a promising team is more appealing on back of those defeats than would be if signed after a treble and legacy of greats succeeding just before you.

The season is early but we look like we have a nice young core... other young players will surely want to come here. I have zero doubt about that.

Mino Raiola had introduced a clause when Erling Haland signed for Borussia Dortmund which states that from the end of the second season, he could leave the club for €75M.@orioldomenech

Reports that Mino won't speak about any arrangements with candidates before they're elected.

So no promises from Laporta etc.

A goalscorer is useless without wingers, a midfield, and a competent back line. I don't think splashing 100M+ for a forward in our situation is smart, squad wise. The rebuild came too late and because of that we'll miss out on this decade's 50+ goalscorer. That's the reality.

We (European football) had 4 last decade, so hopefully another one or two will pop out within the next few years. That's what we can hope for.

Have you watched Haaland? Just play some half-decent through-balls, low or high, and he will run at them like a bulldozer, a very fast one!
Of course service matters, but Haaland is so good that he`d still score a decent amount with a mediocre support cast.

Goal scorer is the most important piece in a team.
If you have the chance to get him, do it and rebuild the needed pieces later.

With his pace and physique you can use Haaland both as a CF and CB at the same and will most likely do a better job than Lenglet and Griezmann.

That is very true. A lot of his goals he's still left with a lot to do, but like you said bulldozes his way through to put himself in a better position. A lot of the chances he takes, lesser forwards would be squeezed out by the defender.

This guy will dominate this decade. Symbolic, him being born in 2000, so he'll be 30 when the new decade starts. He'll score 500 goals by then.
